"PrimeShip-GREEN/MinPower" and "PrimeShip-GREEN/PSTA Ver.2 (Beta version)" are now available.

PrimeShip-GREEN/MinPower, is a software used for the assessments of required minimum propulsion power in adverse conditions for bulk carriers, tankers and combination carriers with the size of equal or more than 20,000DWT by means of methods defined in RESOLUTION MEPC.232(65) of IMO “2013 INTERIM GUIDELINES FOR DETERMINNING MINIMUM PROPULSION POWER TO MAINTAIN THE MANOEUVRABILITY OF SHIP IN ADVERSE CONDITIONS”, has been developed and is now available.

In addition, An updated version of the PrimeShip-GREEN/PSTA software, which was initially released in June 2013 to provide shipyards with an easy means of calculating progressive speed trial analysis in compliance with the ISO 15016:2002 standard recognized in IMO guideline 2013 GUIDELINES ON SURVEY AND CERTIFICATION OF THE ENERGY EFFICIENCY DESIGN INDEX (EEDI) has been released. Recently, a new draft of ISO15016 was released. In order to support the industry’s smooth application of this future standard, ClassNK has released a new version of PrimeShip-GREEN/PSTA to help familiarize users with the new software and future requirements of this draft.
