As already advised in ClassNK Technical Information No.TEC-0860 dated 8 August 2011 and TEC-0861 dated on 11 August 2011, in relation to each flag states' instruction for Unified Interpretation regarding the suction heads of fixed emergency fire pumps, the Administration of Singapore, Belgium and Red Ensign Group Technical Forum (including the UK, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Gibraltar and the Isle of Man) have newly advised the instruction/agreement as follows. Instruction from the Administration of Singapore: For Singapore-registered ships, Unified Interpretation is applicable to ships of which keel is laid on or after 1 January 2012, however, excluding ships of which contract to build is signed before 10 December 2010.
