We are pleased to announce that as of 18 December 2023, we will begin providing electronic versions of the major appraisal reports and certificates (see below) issued during classification surveys and statutory surveys.

We will, in principle, still issue paper versions of such documents, but only in cases where such is either requested or electronic issuance is not possible due to system limitations. This change is being made as part of our continued efforts to transition to paperless business operations so as to provide more efficient services to our customers and reduce the environment impact of these services.

The aforementioned electronic documents will be issued via our web server with an electronic signature (Digital Signature) and QR Code, in the same method as is done for classification and statutory certificates; moreover, such documents can be validated online*.
