Additional information with regard to TEC-1060 "Regulations on sulphur content of fuel oil within Chinese emission control areas"

On the official website of the Chinese Government, it was published that, from 1 April 2016, ships berthing at core ports within the Yangtze River Delta emission control area are required to use fuel oils with sulphur content not exceeding 0.5% m/m. Shanghai port, Ningbo-Zhoushan port, Suzhou port and Nantong port are designated as the core ports within the Yangtze River Delta emission control area.
