Please be informed that ClassNK Singapore will organize our ClassNK Academy in Singapore on 28 & 29 August 2024 in the Conference Room of the ClassNK Singapore Office.

The topic is as follows:
Designated Person in the ISM Code

and are addressed for your DPA, superintendents, and operation staff, and also as general training for all management staff (shipboard and shore-based) who require a better understanding of the “Designated Person in the ISM Code” including:
1. Overview of qualification and training requirements for DP.
2. Knowledge and understanding of the ISM Code.
3. Mandatory rules, regulations, applicable codes, guidelines, and standards as appropriate.
4. Assessment techniques of examining, evaluating, and reporting.
5. Appropriate knowledge of shipping and shipboard operations.
6. Effective communication.
7. PSC Procedure
8. Case studies (Group Work).
