Please be informed that ClassNK Singapore will organize our ClassNK Academy in Singapore on 08 & 09 March 2023 at Furama RiverFront Hotel, Singapore.

The topic is as follows:

Classification Surveys (Hull) Course --- (Day 1)
Classification Surveys (Machinery & Electrical Installations) Course --- (Day 2)

and are addressed for your superintendent and technical staff and also as general training for all staff (shipboard and shore-based) who require a better understanding of:

1.The contents of the Classification Surveys for Hull include:

  c. Inspection before Launching.
  d. Corrosion Prevention.
  e. Hull Outfitting.
  f. Stability Experiments.
  g. Class Maintenance Surveys (Hull)
  h. Hull Damages.

2.The contents of the Classification Surveys for Machinery & Electrical Installations include:
  a. Outline of the Class Surveys.
  b. Survey at Manufacturers, Shipyards, etc.
  c. Survey at Shipyards – Piping
  d. Survey at Shipyards – Electrical.
  e. Survey at Shipyards – Hazardous Areas.
  f. Sea Trial.
  g. Class Maintenance surveys (Mach. & Elec.)
  h. Machinery Damages.

Taking this course will improve your understanding of the preparations necessary for these surveys as well as increase your awareness of key details that require attention.
