Japanese government has officially approved the issuance of electronic certificates (hereafter referred to as “e-Certificate”). Given the fact, e-Certificate can be issued to Japanese-flagged vessels and DOC can also be issued to company managing Japanese-flag vessels as e-Certificate. Therefore, we are pleased to announce that, in principle, certificates and DOC will be e-Certificates on/after 13 February 2023. Neither application nor registration is required to use our e-Certificate service.
