For improved convenience for our customers, ClassNK has been building an environment where documents can be provided electronically upon request, from early 2000s for class records and from 2017 for statutory certificates we issue on behalf of flag states.
Starting the 30th of January, 2022, class and statutory certificates issued by ClassNK, reports/records related to ISM/ISPS/MLC surveys and certificates of the flag states that authorize electronic certificates will be issued electronically in principle.
