The Liberian Administration has recently issued Marine Notice SAF-010 Rev.07/26, which clarifies that a copy of the interpretation of SOLAS Regulation II-1/3-6, paragraph 2.3 in MSC.1/Circ.1572/Rev.2 be included in the Ship Structure Access Manual. Shipyards, design companies, shipowners and ship management companies are therefore requested to ensure that a copy of the interpretation of SOLAS Regulation II-1/3-6, paragraph 2.3 (Appendix 2) is included in the Ship Structure Access Manual for both new buildings and existing ships.
