Maintenance and Inspection of Fire Protection Systems and Appliances on board the Cayman Islands flag ships
The Marine Authority of the Cayman Islands have issued a SHIPPING NOTICE 01/2014, "MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION OF FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS AND APPLIANCES", specifying the periodical inspection, maintenance and testing of fire protection systems and appliances for Cayman Islands registered ships.
This SHIPPING NOTICE refers to IMO Circular MSC.1 / Circ.1432.
The previous ClassNK Technical Information No. TEC-0708 is now superseded.
For your reference, at every survey for Safety Equipment, our surveyors will confirm that the maintenance and testing of fire protection systems and appliances on board Cayman Islands registered ships are carried out in accordance with SHIPPING NOTICE 01/2014 and MSC.1/Circ.1432.
