The requirements of the Government of Hellenic Republic for radio personnel on board its flag GMDSS ships are given in NK Technical Information No. 136 of 10 May 1994.
The Government has notified this Society of its revision to these requirements which is reproduced below for your information/necessary arrangements.

Revised Requirements for Radio Personnel on Board Greek Flag GMDSS Ships

1. For ships adopting maintenance methods other than onboard maintenance,
(a) Sea area: A1
One holder of Restricted Operator's Certificate (ROC) at least
(b) Sea areas A2, A3 and A4
Two holders of General Operator's Certificate (GOC) at least
2. For ships adopting onboard maintenance as maintenance method,
(a) Sea area: A1
One holder of 1st or 2nd Class Radio Electronic Certificate (REC) issued by the Ministry of Mercantile Marine
(b) Sea areas: A2, A3 and A4
One holder of 1st or 2nd Class Radio Electronic Certificate (REC) issued by the Ministry of Mercantile Marine and one holder of GOC at least
