In relation to No.TEC-0946 dated 29 March 2013 about EU RO Mutual Recognition, please be informed that the 11 products mentioned below have been newly added to the approval scheme, and those applications are available to be accepted from 1 July 2013.

Since the new 11 products will be treated under the same procedure of first phase products, please refer to the No.TEC-0946 about e.g. how to apply to vessels classed with ClassNK.

In addition, "Guidelines for Type Approval of Products for Marine Use for EU Mutual Recognition" has been updated as second edition and it can be downloaded from the following ClassNK web site.

(9) Electric cables – Heating cables
(10) Plastic Piping Systems
(11) Spark Arresters
