In relation to TEC-0946 dated 29 March 2013 and TEC-0962 dated 26 July 2013 about EU RO Mutual Recognition, please be informed that the 12 products mentioned below have been newly added to the approval scheme, and applications for those items have been accepted since 1 July 2014.

Since the new 12 products will be treated under the same procedure of first and second phase products, please refer to TEC-0946 about e.g. how to apply mutual recognition products to our classed vessels.

In addition, "Guidelines for Type Approval of Products for Marine Use for EU Mutual Recognition" has been updated as third edition and it can be download from the following ClassNK web site.

(7) Connecting Systems for Cable Repair (Cable Splices)
(8) Electrical Actuators for Valves
(9) Insulation Panels for Provision Rooms and Chambers
(10) Pneumatic Actuators for Valves
(11) Solenoid Valve Assembly
(12) Stationary Lighting Fixtures, Flood-light Projectors
