ClassNK partly amended Part CSR-T of the Rules and published Rule No. 14 (for Japanese-flagged ships) and Rule No.19 (for non Japanese-flagged ships) on 15 April 2009 based on IACS CSR for Double Hull Oil Tankers, July 2008 "Rule Change Notice No. 1" (hereinafter referred to as RCN1 of IACS Tanker CSR) adopted by IACS in January of 2009. The Common Structural Rules (CSR) for Double Hull Oil Tankers and Bulk Carriers, which two project teams (JBP & JTP) in IACS had been developing since the year before last, were adopted by the IACS Council in December 2005. 2. The CSR have been incorporated into the Society's Rule and CSR for Double Hull Oil Tankers and Bulk Carriers were approved at the meeting of the ClassNK Technical Committee on 3 February 2006 (the first meeting of the year).
