<p>As already informed by the ClassNK Technical Information No.TEC-1031 (2 June 2015) and TEC-1100 (31 January 2017), shipping companies (ship-owner, ship manager or responsible organization or person for operation) are required to develop and submit Monitoring Plant (MP) to the accredited verifier by 31 August 2017. Furthermore, from 1 January 2018, it is necessary to collect voyage data according to MP and submit developed Emission Report (ER) to the verifier.</p><p>ClassNK is accredited by a national accreditation body UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) as a verifier of EU MRV on 1 March 2017. After this accreditation by UKAS, ClassNK is authorised to assess MP, verify ER and issue DOC in accordance with the EU MRV Regulation.</p><p>ClassNK offers software "ClassNK MRV Portal" which enables users to submit MP and ER smoothly as well as download MP templates and control monitoring data such as sending monitoring data and documentary evidence from ship or shore to the verifier. The company can utilize the input data gathered through this service for preparation and submission of ER.
