Although ClassNK Technical Information No.TEC-1023 dated 26 February 2015 and TEC-1215 dated 6 November 2020 have previously been issued regarding special flag state requirements on the handling of asbestos, various flag State authorities have also issued their circulars on this subject.

Consequently, we will henceforth post the latest information on the special requirements regarding the handling of asbestos of each flag authority on the ClassNK website at the following URL:
