Compliance with new requirements for Lifting appliances in accordance with the Amendments to SOLAS II-1
Regarding ClassNK Technical Information No. TEC-1357 issued on 30 July 2025, we have revised due to an error.
This Technical Information supersedes the previous ClassNK Technical Information No.TEC-1357.
The corrections are as follows.
"3. List** of Loose Gears and Proof Test Certificate" in No. TEC-1357.
(Incorrect)
From 1 January 2026, proof test certificates for loose gears used with lifting appliances subject to SOLAS II-1/3-13.2.1 and 13.2.4 will be required.
(Correct)
From 1 January 2026, proof test certificates for loose gears used with lifting appliances subject to SOLAS II-1/3-13 will be required.
