Please be kindly informed that we have been advised by the Liberian Government and the Marshall Islands Government with regard to maintenance and inspection of fire-protection systems and appliances on board Liberian / Marshall Islands flag ships as per attached. A marine notice number from the Liberian Government is FIR-001 and No. 2-011-14 from the Marshall Islands Government, and attached hereto is the notice from the Liberian Government only. During the periodical Surveys of Safety Equipment, a Surveyor will confirm if maintenance and inspection of fire-protection systems and appliances on board the vessels is subjected to the notice and carry out necessary tests / inspections and then please take necessary actions for their compliance with the notice.

In case of Marshall Islands flag ships, please substitute the Marshall Islands Government for the Liberian Government in the notice.
