The Hong Kong Government has notified ClassNK of the graphical symbols of fire control plans onboard the Hong Kong flagged vessels.

The graphical symbols related to fire control plans as set out in IMO Resolution A. 654(16) should be used in the plans onboard the Hong Kong flagged vessels. All Hong Kong flagged vessels constructed on or after 1 January 2004 are encouraged to apply the graphical symbols in IMO Resolution A. 952(23). Symbols are not required to be in color.

This ClassNK Technical Information supersedes the previous ClassNK Technical Information No. TEC-0455 dated 8 May 2002 and replaces the special requirement for this flagged vessel stated in ClassNK Technical Information No. TEC-0495 dated 15 December 2002.
