It has been required to submit a Survey Programme including survey items as part of preparation for the Special Survey in oil tankers, bulk carriers and ships carrying dangerous chemicals in bulk and for Intermediate Survey in bulk carriers over 10 years of age and in oil tankers and ships carrying dangerous chemicals in bulk over 15 years old of age.

ClassNK has amended the form of Survey Programme to add following information.
1. Main structural plan including information regarding use of high tensile steels (Page 4)
2. Hull damage experience (Page 9)
Its form and an example are attached herewith. Electrical file of Survey Programme is available on the ClassNK web site.

Please prepare the survey programme and submit it to the ClassNK surveyor prior to a survey meeting. The ClassNK surveyor will examine the survey programme and return it with signature. In case survey place is not decided, please submit the survey programme to the Survey Department.

This ClassNK Technical Information supersedes the previous ClassNK Technical Information No. TEC-0574 dated 16 March 2004.
