Panama Maritime Authority has notified ClassNK that the application for extension of the period of the periodical servicing of inflatable liferaft and/or fire fighting equipment will be handled by Panama Maritime Authority from 1 January 2006.

Therefore, please send the following documents to Panama Maritime Authority directly in case where you wish to extend the period of the periodical servicing of inflatable liferaft and/or fire fighting equipment.

1. Application including the following information
(1) Name of Ship
(2) Call Sign
(3) IMO No.
(4) Name of Class Society which is issuing SE Certificate and Fax No.
(5) Name of Owner and Fax No.
(6) Equipment Manufacturer
(7) Number and Type of Equipment
(8) Last Servicing Date (mm/dd/yy)
(9) Period of Extension
(10) Circumstances for the Extension
2. Copy of the Last Service Certificate
3. Copy of the latest SE Certificate
