BNWAS News

1. Application ships

(1) All cargo ships of 150 GT and upwards; and

(2) Passenger ships irrespective of size.

2. BNWAS shipborne equipment

(1) BNWAS is complied with the requirements of IMO MSC.128(75) and of type approved by the Administration or Classification.

(2) Regarding BNWAS installed on board before 1 July 2011, DOC to the MSC.128(75) issued by the manufacturer should be kept on board the ship.
When the BNWAS is not fully complied with the MSC.128(75), Exemption from the Flag State should be obtained.
