ClassNK releases “Guidelines for Onboard CO2 Capture and Storage Systems (Edition 2.1)”

There has been growing interest in “OCCS-ready vessels,” which are designed to accommodate the future installation of Onboard Carbon Capture and Storage (OCCS) systems.
In response to this industry trend, our guidelines are revised to enable the appropriate evaluation of OCCS-ready vessel designs at the concept stage and to allow the assignment of notations.
